What To Expect In Your Citizenship Interview

What’s after your exam

After the test, you may be called to sit for your citizenship interview, in the interview you’ll meet with a citizenship official who will:

• Give you the results of your test if you had one
• Check your language skills if you’re between 18 and 54 years of age
• Verify your application and original documents
• Ask any questions we may have about your application
• Make sure you meet all the requirements for citizenship

If you pass and meet the other requirements for citizenship, IRCC may give you a ceremony date at the same time you get the test results or email or send you a letter with the date and time of your ceremony.

What can you do if your citizenship application is refused?

You can apply for Canadian citizenship again. This new application must include all the required forms and documents, including a new application fee. There is no waiting period before you can reapply. However, you should make sure you meet the requirements for Canadian citizenship before you reapply.

Please refer to apply for Canadian citizenship for your eligibility check and for how to apply as your primary source of information but our experts can review your application and help you make sure that your application package has been successfully completed in a correct way and all the requirements have been met, our role is to make sure you will not lose your money by getting refused and reapply with a new fee or lose time as it usually take months to get an official refusal letter and also it will take months to start the process from scratch, it’s better to do it right first time.
